We encourage applications from individuals of all disciplines who currently hold degree and/or professional qualifications. We also encourage applications from individuals with professional, leadership and managerial experience who may be admitted onto a master’s programme at the discretion of the Programme Director.
Applicants must be over 21 years of age and possess one or more of the following:
1. A recognised Honours degree or equivalent.
2. A professional qualification.
3.Applicants who are over 25 years of age and do not meet the above
criteria may be admitted to the course provided their professional or managerial experience is deemed to be appropriate.
Applicants who have a relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) at credit level 7 are likely to be admitted with exemption from modules in Part 1. They are likely to only have to complete the dissertation in order to gain the MSc.

There are no exams. Assessment will be via reports, academic posters, portfolios, practical demonstrations, short presentations and the creation of learning resources for managers.

Additional costs include mandatory CIPD student membership and optional purchase of textbooks.
Student Membership of the CIPD costs £109 per year, plus a £40 joining fee. -

The qualification will enable students to apply for positions requiring level 7 CIPD status and subject to one year’s experience, for Chartered Membership of the CIPD.
