The Graduate Outcomes survey is a national survey that captures information about the activities and perspectives of graduates 15 months after they finish their studies.

We’ll want to know what you are up to so that we can celebrate your accomplishments and get a clear picture of the varied careers paths your degree programmes have led you to. We’ll use this information to improve the student experience.

Hopefully all your questions are answered in the section below, but you can also visit for more information.

Don’t forget, to have your say, we’ll need your latest email address and contact number. You can update these below.

About the Graduate Outcomes Survey

  • All graduates who completed a relevant course will be asked to take part in the Graduate Outcomes survey which only takes around 10 minutes to complete.

It looks to understand whether you are in employment, have continued with further study or are doing something else, and considers to what extent your qualification has played a part.

Even if you have continued your studies with us, and regardless of whether your course was undertaken as part of, or as a requirement of your existing employment, you will be asked to complete the survey.

  • Your response will be anonymised but will help ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø market and evaluate its courses and will give current and future students insight into career destinations and development.

The survey is also of national significance. It allows policy makers, charities, journalists, researchers and others to understand the higher education sector and the state of the graduate labour market.

  • The survey is carried out by Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) so you will be contacted by them on the University’s behalf.

You will receive an email from UniversityOfWalesTrinitySaintDavid@graduateoutcomes.ac.uk inviting you to complete the survey online. You may also receive text messages from ‘G°ù²¹»å°¿³Ü³Ù³¦´Ç³¾±ð’, and calls from IFF Research on behalf of the University so you can complete the survey over the phone.  If you are not contactable, we may ask a third party such as a family member for this information.

Don’t forget that in order to contact you, we’ll need your latest information. If you don’t think we have those, you can update your details.

If you are a current student, you can update your details using

  • You will be surveyed approximately 15 months after you complete your studies.

Graduates will be grouped across the year into four cohorts based on the end date of your course. Depending on when your course ended, you will receive your survey invitation around 15 months later. For example, if your course ended in May to July 2023, you’ll receive the survey invitation in September 2024.
