Professional Practice (CertHE)
The CertHE in Professional Practice is a flexible, part-time distance learning course designed for people who want to develop their skills while continuing to work.
This fully online programme allows you to study from anywhere while applying your learning directly to your job. Whether you work in leadership, digital marketing, social housing, project management, or mentoring, this course gives you the tools to progress in your career.
A key feature of this programme is that it recognises your existing skills and experience. Through the Recognition and Accreditation of Learning (RAL) process, you can gain credit for what you already know, meaning you won’t have to repeat learning you have already done. This makes your study more relevant, time-efficient, and personalised.
As a distance learner, you have the flexibility to study at your own pace, balancing work and personal commitments. With three start dates per year—October, January, and April— you can begin when it suits you best. There are no fixed lecture times, so you can fit your studies around your schedule.
Students can choose from a wide range of industry-focused modules, including leadership, digital marketing, HR for non-HR professionals, and competency-based portfolios. This allows you to tailor your learning to your career goals and apply what you learn in real time.
The course is practical and career-focused, helping you develop skills that employers value. You will build confidence, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities, all of which can help you move into a management role or gain expertise in your field. Many students choose a specialist pathway, such as Professional Practice in Leadership, Social Housing, or Hospitality, allowing them to focus on a specific industry.
At the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, we are committed to providing a high-quality online learning experience. You will have access to expert tutors, interactive learning materials, and a supportive online community, ensuring you stay connected and engaged throughout your studies.
