This dynamic exhibition brings together work from students across a range of programmes, including Photography, Fine Art, Illustration, Textiles, Design Crafts, Glass, Graphic Design, and Moving Image, celebrating their mastery of specialist skills while embracing exciting interdisciplinary approaches.

The title, ‘LOOK WHAT YOU DID,’ serves as a bold statement and a challenge. It prompts audiences to reflect on the implications of human impact on the world, particularly within the context of the Anthropocene, mass production, and consumerism. These emerging artists and designers invite us to reconsider existing processes and systems, proposing fresh strategies for the future.

Senior Lecturer Catherine Brown said: “The MA Contemporary Dialogues portfolio encourages students to take an interdisciplinary approach, and this exhibition clearly shows the exciting opportunities they’ve embraced. From Illustration students working in stained glass to Photography students creating large-scale sculptural installations, the works reflect a commitment to innovation and future thinking. We’re extremely proud of their enthusiasm and dedication and wish them every success in the future.â€

Caroline Thraves, Academic Director Art & Media said: “Hosting an exhibition featuring the work of students across these programmes is vital for nurturing creative talent and giving emerging artists a platform to share their voices. It not only celebrates their achievements but also fosters dialogue, inspires innovation, and connects their ideas with the wider community, shaping the cultural and creative landscape of tomorrow.â€
