Collaborative Partnerships Office

Collaborative provision is important to the University as it enables its programmes to be made available to students from a wide range of geographical areas and offers them a truly global education experience.

Collaborative provision is also beneficial to the University’s partner institutions and students studying there, by offering:

  • Valuable links to higher education in the UK
  • Research and staff development opportunities
  • Opportunities for student progression
  • The benefits available to all Alumni of University of Wales Trinity Saint David
QAA – Committed to the quality of UK TNE – Scheme Participant.

Collaborative Partnerships Office

The Collaborative Partnerships Office supports partnership delivery of:

  • ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø programmes
  • University of Wales programmes (until completion).

It oversees approval and monitoring processes and offers advice in matters relating to collaborative provision to staff at both the collaborative partner institutions and the University.

  • When students enrol on a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø programme they agree to the terms and conditions described by the partner institution when they accept a place on the programme. They also agree to comply with University Regulations and processes, which are summarised in the Partner Enrolment Agreement.

  • A Collaborative Partner Operations manual has been written primarily for the guidance of partner institutions, although much of the information it contains will also be relevant to University staff involved in collaborative partnerships.

The aim of the Manual is to provide a general guide to operating a collaborative programme and to confirm the University’s commitment to providing a quality service to its partner institutions, to enable them to operate effectively.

The manual includes content from the Academic Quality Handbook and refers to the appropriate ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøs and appendices for further details, as applicable.

  • The University has updated its guidance to partners in relation to extenuating circumstances applications. A copy of the new guidance can be found below:
