Background
Worked in the consumer electronics sector for several years before transitioning to a Motorsport-focused career path.
Academic Interests
Teaching across various pathways within the Engineering department, specialising in:
- Vehicle Dynamics
- Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Methods (Driver In & Out of the Loop)
- Data Acquisition Systems
- Data Analysis to assess Vehicle/Driver Performance
- Computer Aided Engineering (CAD, Structural Analysis & Computational Fluid Analysis)
- Internal Combustion Engine Component Design
Expertise
Spent a decade working in the consumer electronics sector, alongside companies like Samsung, LG and Panasonic tracking fault patterns, investigating issues and working with engineering departments to implement solutions.
Within a Motorsport environment, I have been fortunate enough to have experience of working across the following categories:
- Single Seaters (Primarily F3)
- Sports Prototypes (Various Series)
- Historic Group B Rally
My main area of expertise is working as a trackside performance engineer, analysing vehicle data, and identifying performance gains in car and driver.
