This Open Day programme is designed to guide you through the event, ensuring you’re well-prepared and able to make the most of your visit. You’ll find details on who to meet, what to see, and how to ask the questions that matter to you.

Below, we’ve outlined a typical Open Day schedule. Whether you’re attending a talk or seeking information, our teams will be available throughout the day to answer any questions you may have about studying with us.

  • 10:00-10:30 (09:30-10:00 Swansea College of Art)

    Registration for the Open Day begins at 10:00 (09:30 for Swansea College of Art). Once you’ve registered, refreshments will be available. Take this opportunity to meet current students and staff and start getting your questions answered.

  • 10:30-11:00 (10:00-10:30 Swansea College of Art)

    Our Welcome Talks provide a great introduction to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. You’ll discover what our students love about studying here and why ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is the ideal place to pursue a subject you’re passionate about while preparing for your future career.

  • Carmarthen 10:30-11:00, Swansea 00:00-00:00

    We know that understanding how to finance your studies is crucial in making your decision. Our finance talk at the Carmarthen and Swansea Open Days will give you a comprehensive overview of student finance, helping you understand the funding options available and how to access them.

    Cardiff and Lampeter

    For those attending the Cardiff and Lampeter Open Days, we recommend speaking to our Money Advice team at the information fair.

  • 11:00-12:00 (10:30-11:30 Swansea College of Art)

    For many visitors, the academic talks and facilities tours are the highlights of the day. This is your chance to dive deeper into your chosen subject and learn more about what, where, and how you will be taught. You’ll also get to see the facilities that help our students prepare for their careers.

  • 12:00-13:00 (12:30-13:00 Carmarthen)

    Lunch is on us. Take this time to relax, reflect on the morning’s activities, and consider any further questions you might want to ask at the information fair or during the campus and accommodation tours.

  • In the afternoon, our information fair will be open. Here, you can meet academic staff and various student services teams who are available for 1-to-1 discussions to answer any questions you may have.

  • As a proud Welsh institution, we celebrate the Welsh language. Whether you’re a Welsh speaker, want to improve your skills, or are interested in learning the language, attend this talk at our Carmarthen and Swansea campuses to explore the Welsh language opportunities available.

    Cardiff and Lampeter

    At the Cardiff and Lampeter Open Days, we recommend speaking to the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol team at the information fair.

  • For many students, accommodation is a key aspect of university life. Our Accommodation Team’s talk will provide detailed information on your options, whether you choose to live in our halls or off-campus in dedicated student housing.

    Cardiff and Lampeter

    At the Cardiff and Lampeter Open Days, we recommend speaking to the Accommodation team at the information fair for advice on your options.

  • Campus tours are an essential part of the Open Day experience. They help you get a feel for the campus, see it from a student’s perspective, and explore our facilities for the first time.

  • Seeing where you could be living during your studies is important to many visitors. On our Carmarthen and Lampeter campuses, the Accommodation Team and Student Ambassadors will show you around the places you might call home.

    Swansea & Cardiff

    Students attending the Swansea and Cardiff Open Days are encouraged to speak to our Accommodation team and the private providers at the information fair. Here, you can arrange visits to a variety of off-campus student accommodation located near our campuses.
