The ���ϳԹ��� (���ϳԹ���) proudly announces that it has been recognised with a ‘1st Class’ award in the esteemed 2023 People & Planet University League.

This accolade underscores ���ϳԹ���’s unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship, ethical practices, and sustainability initiatives. The People and Planet University League, renowned as an authoritative environmental ranking of all UK universities, annually assesses institutions based on their environmental and ethical performance. In the 2023 league, 151 UK universities underwent rigorous evaluation across 14 categories, earning distinctions ranging from 1st class to Fail.

���ϳԹ��� achieved an outstanding 100% score in the ‘Environmental Policy’ category. The university demonstrated prowess in various other categories, garnering impressive scores of 96% for ‘Education’, and 90% for ‘Engagement’ and ‘Auditing and EMS’. Notably, ���ϳԹ��� secured top positions in Wales and commendable UK standings in the ‘Waste and Recycling’ (9th in the UK), ‘Energy Sources’ (7th in the UK), and ‘Water Reduction’ (2nd in the UK) categories.

Responding to the news, Professor Dylan Jones, Deputy Vice Chancellor, and Chair of the Sustainability Steering Group at ���ϳԹ���, commented:
