‘Residuum 2024’ Art & Design Exhibition displaying innovative works by Chinese and British students
The ϳԹ’s (ϳԹ) Swansea College of Art is proud to announce the upcoming exhibition, “Residuum 2024,” featuring artworks created by students enrolled in the Professional Doctorate in Art and Design and MA Art & Design programs. This vibrant showcase will take place at the renowned Volcano Theatre, nestled in the heart of Swansea’s High Street, from August 13th to August 26th.
‘Residuum 2024’ promises to be an immersive exploration of creativity and cultural exchange, bringing together the diverse perspectives of both Chinese and British artists. Students were encouraged to explore deep into their artistic practice, pushing boundaries and challenging conventional norms to produce a collection that is as thought-provoking as it is visually stunning.
The exhibition serves as a platform for emerging talents to share their unique visions with the world, offering viewers an opportunity to engage with a wide range of mediums, styles, and concepts. From bold and experimental installations to intricate sculptures and captivating paintings, “Residuum 2024” promises to captivate audiences and ignite conversations about the role of art in contemporary society.
“We are excited to eventually see the finished practice of students’ hard work in ‘Residuum 2024,’.
