The Supporting Early Childhood Physical Development course, which is part of our SKIP Cymru programme, focuses on equipping professionals with essential skills to support motor development in young children, which underpins health and well-being and wider development. It blends theory and practice, enabling participants to apply research-backed techniques to real-world settings.
The course aligns with national health initiatives, providing both skills for immediate application and long-term benefits for children’s physical literacy. Delivered over eight weeks, it includes both online learning and face-to-face sessions for flexible, hands-on learning.
This course is aligned with the SKIP Cymru initiative and other national health projects, ensuring that participants gain recognised skills endorsed by Welsh Government initiatives.
