As an international student from Hyderabad, India, studying at the ���ϳԹ��� (���ϳԹ���) has been a transformative experience for Mukul Bakkolla. 

Mukul completed his early education at the Ivy League Academy, before moving on to complete his senior secondary education at Delhi Public School. Mukul said that these schools laid a strong foundation for his academic journey before coming to ���ϳԹ���. He received an international student scholarship of £3000 for all three years, which was a huge help in supporting his education and making studying abroad more affordable.

Mukul chose to study BA International Business Management at ���ϳԹ���’s Swansea campus due to its strong infrastructure, competitive pricing, and excellent academic support. He adds:

“It felt like the right place to get a solid education in a supportive environment that would help me grow personally and professionally.”

One of Mukul’s favourite things about studying in Swansea is the beach and the overall peaceful atmosphere. He said: 

“It felt like the perfect balance between a lively university environment and a calm place to relax. Mumbles, in particular, became one of my favourite spots to watch the sunset. It was an ideal way to unwind after a busy day of studying, and I loved how the city had so much to offer while still maintaining a friendly, welcoming vibe.”

The academic experience at ���ϳԹ��� proved invaluable in shaping his career aspirations. He shared:

“ My course has given me a wide understanding of the many aspects of business. From finance to HR, marketing, and even law, I’ve gained valuable insights into what it takes to build a successful business. The course really prepared me to understand both the challenges businesses face and the solutions that can make them thrive.”

Mukul has also secured a marketing internship through the university, which aligns perfectly with his career goals. 

“It’s been an amazing experience where I’ve gained practical skills and deepened my passion for marketing, which will be valuable for my future career.”

Beyond university life, Mukul has embraced new hobbies, developing a passion for reading and socialising with his friends.

“Everyone here is very friendly, and it’s so much fun spending time together – it really adds to the overall student experience.”

���ϳԹ���’s BA Business Management Programme Manager Robyn Griffiths said:

As Mukul reflects back on his student experience, he said that he would recommend ���ϳԹ��� to other students.

After graduation, Mukul hopes to work in marketing or business administration.

“I’ve always had a deep love for these subjects, and they will help me when I eventually pursue my own business. I’m passionate about building something meaningful and, as ambitious as it sounds, I dream of creating a billion-dollar brand someday.”
