On Tuesday, 29 October, author and doctoral student, Olatunji Offeyi (Tunji), will be exploring creative writing and heritage at an event to be held on the University’s Lampeter campus and online. The Writing Heritage workshop is one of the events run by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Students’ Union to celebrate Black History Month.

Harvey Levell, a student at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø), never planned to attend university after leaving sixth form. With ambitions set on an apprenticeship, it was a teacher’s recommendation that encouraged him to attend a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø open day. That visit proved to be a transformative experience, guiding him towards a future in motorsport engineering that he hadn’t previously considered.

A BA Outdoor Adventure Education student from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) has proven a life-changing and transformative experience after a six-month placement in the University of South-Eastern Norway. On his return to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Patrick Shapland shares how his experience helped him gain new-found confidence, skills, and a deeper understanding of cultural adaptation and resilience.
