The RED Digital Cinema camera company recently visited the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and Canolfan S4C Yr Egin in Carmarthen to provide a Filmmaking workshop for students.

Jonathan Smart, Chief Operating Officer for SAIL Databank and Head of Programmes for Swansea University’s Data Science Department, recently celebrated the successful completion of his MA in Professional Practice through distance learning at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø). Jonathan credits the course for enhancing his reflection skills and significantly contributing to his professional development.

Steven Clarey is a BA Film and media graduate from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. Originally from Carmarthen, but now living in Tenby, he’s a renowned freelance film-maker and photographer.

Graduates from the BA Set Design and Production course 2023 cohort from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø have been employed by the Torch Theatre at Milford Haven for their upcoming season.

A BA Adventure Filmmaking student from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has recently showcased his work at Dinefwr Park’s new Green Hub space in Llandeilo.

The second International Media Festival of Wales (IMFW) took place at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) Yr Egin building in Carmarthen last week, to celebrate and elevate local and international media talent.

A BA Acting student from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has had the opportunity to travel to the USA to spend a semester studying at California State University, Fullerton.

Students from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s BA Acting, BA Set Design and Production and from Coleg Sir Gâr are looking forward to collaborating together to perform a stage production of ‘The Visit’ by Friedrich Dürrenmatt.

Lleucu Williams, a graduate of the BA Set Design and Production course from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is busy working as a Costume Supervisor and Assistant Stage Manager on tour with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru on their latest show, ‘Swyn' which is currently on tour.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) has developed a new postgraduate qualification, MA Applied Theatre: Community, Education and Wellbeing that focuses on the role of drama and theatre outside of traditional spaces.
