The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATiC) has recently completed a collaborative pilot study with Swansea-based Kaydiar Ltd, which specialises in offloading (reducing pressure) technology for pressure lesions on the foot, from diabetic care to sport footwear.

The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATiC) has won the Benefitting Society award in this year’s Green Gown Awards UK and Ireland.

ATiC collaborates with academic, public, private, and third sector partners from the life sciences, health, and social care sectors to drive a culture of research excellence, knowledge transfer, and innovation in health and wellbeing.

In a truly cross-cultural event, children and parents from Gellionnen Primary school joined families from the Swansea Chinese community in a wonderful celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival organised by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Confucius Institute’s Chinese School.

The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATiC) hosted a symposium this week (Wednesday, October 25), on the theme of Co-creating the Future of Health Technology.

Students from the Professional Doctorate in Art and Design and MA Art and Design programmes at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Swansea College of Art have embarked on a different educational journey this year. In a ground-breaking approach to teaching, they have been introduced to the captivating world of chess and the innovative styles of chess masters.

Steven Clarey is a BA Film and media graduate from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. Originally from Carmarthen, but now living in Tenby, he’s a renowned freelance film-maker and photographer.

The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) welcomes political leaders from Maharashtra in India to study its Executive Leadership Programme.

Congratulations to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) students Oscar McNaughton and Jacob Gibbons who won Silver medals in the WorldSkills UK national finals. Both are now hoping to progress to the International Finals in Lyon 2024.
