What is your favourite thing about Lampeter campus?

I love the tranquil setting of Lampeter campus, that is set within the town centre and has a wonderful and welcoming community, both with students on campus and in the town.

Why did you choose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø?

I chose to study with ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø having heard so many positive reviews regarding students with various disabilities and the opportunities for tailored support for each student. This support has been invaluable to me throughout my studies and truly helped me go beyond my expectations and thrive with my studies. It’s also been a huge boost to my confidence outside of university life.

What did you enjoy outside your studies?

I enjoy motoring and exploring Wales by road, and travelling wherever and whenever the opportunity arises.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

After graduating, I hope to continue pursuing a career with my writing; and potentially staying on with ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø to do a PhD that has been inspired by my creative research throughout my studies.

What is your favourite thing about Creative Writing?

It is extremely difficult to choose one favourite thing about the creative writing (BA & MA) – however, I can say all of the lecturers are amazing, supportive, and always able to find time to help with even the obscurest of writing-related questions.

Would you recommend ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and why?

My time spent studying creative writing both at BA and MA level at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has pushed me to write outside of my comfort zone, to challenge myself with different styles and perspective, and introduced me to a wonderful community of writers, both on campus and within the county.

I have also been encouraged and supported to push beyond my own limit with solo travelling overseas to carry out research which has opened up doors to new and unexpected career options.
