What is your favourite thing about Swansea campus?

The best thing for me about the business campus is the library, there is a lot of space to go on the computer or to go do research without having to worry whether if there will be any space available to do work. One other for me is, I live at St Davids Roost, which is a 2 min walk where the campus is so I do not need to get transportation and worry about traffic.

Why did you choose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø?

I chose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, partially because I really liked Swansea when I first came to visit with the beach and the hills all being so close together as well as the town itself, so when I discovered that the university was offering my chosen course, I put it down as my first choice of university, because of the environment and because the university had a bit smaller capacity of students it really helped with getting that support from the lecturers and the learning support.

What did you enjoy outside your studies?

For me, when I first came here, the night life was amazing as it was really close to where I lived but mainly due to variety of different places to go, whether it was something chill like the pub or going one step further and vibing at the clubs. As time went on though, I focused on physical activity, such as running and the gym (JD gym). I also enjoyed the thrift shops kilo sales that happened every so months to see if there were any clothes I’d like, I mostly like collecting football tops.

What is your favourite thing about Criminology and Policing?

I was really fascinated with learning new areas within the criminology environment that I did not touch in College. I especially enjoyed learning about serious organised crime (SOC), as I chose it for my topic for the dissertation. I really enjoyed speaking to experts as well who came in to speak about the different areas of SOC, whether it would cyber crime or county lines there was an expert who gave an interesting presentation on the dangers of SOC.
